Transnational Figurations of Displacement (TRAFIG): Connectivity and Mobility as Solutions to Protracted Refugee Situations (2019 – 2022).

IT. Il progetto è finanziato all’interno del programma europeo Horizon 2020 per la Ricerca e l’Innovazione ed è coordinato dall’Internationales Konversionszentrum Bonn GmbH (BICC) in Germania. TRAFIG coinvolge 11 partner da Europa, Asia e Africa. Obiettivo principale è quello di approfondire cause, conseguenze e soluzioni delle situazioni di vulnerabilità protratta connesse alle migrazioni forzate in Asia (Pakistan e Giordania), Africa (Tanzania, Etiopia e Congo) ed Europea (Grecia e Italia ). Il progetto ricostruirà anche le reti transnazionali di relazione e sostegno dei rifugiati, per capire come queste ne influenzino la condizione quotidiana e le future traiettorie di mobilità.. Il ruolo principale di FIERI è quello di coordinare il Work Package sull’Europa.

The project is funded under the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Programme for Research and Innovation and is coordinated by the Internationales Konversionszentrum Bonn GmbH (BICC), based in Bonn, Germany. TRAFIG involves 11 partners from as many European, Asian and African countries. Its overall objective is to investigate the causes, consequences and solutions to the situations of protracted displacement in Asia (Pakistan and Jordan), Africa (Tanzania, Etiopia and Congo) ed Europea (Greece and Italy) . The project will also trace refugees’ networks of interaction and support beyond their place of living and ask how these transnational connections shape their current situation and their future mobility trajectories. FIERI’s main role in the project is to coordinate the Work Package on Europe.
