IT Il progetto, finanziato dallo European Integration Fund for Third Country nationals, ha analizzato i meccanismi che governano le relazioni tra autoctoni e immigrati adottando una metodologia multidisciplinare e un approccio comparato. La ricerca ha inteso infatti approfondire gli effetti dei rapporti individuali, delle politiche locali e dei flussi di comunicazione sulle relazioni interetniche, focalizzandosi sul livello del quartiere e comparando cinque diverse città europee: Torino, Barcellona, Norimberga, Londra e Budapest. Il progetto è stato coordinato da FIERI e ha visto come partner l’EPC, l’Università Autonoma di Barcellona, EFMS dell’Università di Bamberg, il TARKI di Budapest e il COMPAS di Oxford.

EN The research study, financed by the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country, analysed the mechanisms that rule the relationships between natives and immigrants through a wide-ranging methodology and a comparative approach. The goal of the research project was to investigate the effects of the individual relationships, the local policies and the communication flows on the interethnic relationships focusing on neighbourhood level and comparing five different European cities: London (UK), Barcelona (Spain), Nüremberg (Germany), Turin (Italy) and Budapest (Hungary). The project was coordinated by FIERI and carried out in collaboration with EPC (European Policy Centre, Bruxelles), EFMS (European Forum for Migration Studies) of the University of Bamberg, GRM of the Autonoma University of Barcelona, COMPAS (Centre on Migration, Policy and Society) of the University of Oxford and TARKI of Budapest.
