Il network di esperti LINET (Independent Network of Labour Migration and Integration Experts) è stato creato dall’IOM (International Organization for Migration) nel 2009 allo scopo di offrire alla Direzione Generale Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion della Commissione Europea, analisi e raccomandazioni sui temi dell’immigrazione per lavoro e dell’integrazione socio-economica dei cittadini di paesi terzi all’interno dell’Unione Europea.

Il network ha riunito esperti provenienti dai 27 stati membri dell’Unione Europea, oltre che da Croazia, Norvegia, Turchia, Australia, Canada e Stati Uniti. I ricercatori di FIERI Ferruccio Pastore e Ester Salis e la collega Claudia Villosio del Laboratorio R. Revelli ne hanno fatto parte, fornendo i contributi di analisi del caso italiano in alcuni degli studi promossi dal network.

Inoltre, sul sito web del network LINET (www.labourmigration.eu) è possibile accedere a numerosi altri studi sulle tematiche dell’immigrazione per lavoro nell’Unione Europea.

The IOM Independent Network of Labour Migration and Integration Experts (LINET) was created in 2009 by the International Organization for Migration in order to provide DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission with expert analysis and advice on economic migration and labour market integration of third country nationals.

The network unites experts from 27 Member States of the European Union, Croatia, Norway and Turkey, as well as Australia, Canada and the United States of America. Ferruccio Pastore and Ester Salis, from FIERI, as well as our collegue Claudia Villosio from the Laboratorio R. Revelli, have joined the network in the past years and have contributed with some research contributions on the Italian case in some of the most recent LINET studies.
