IT Un’indagine sul diritto alla salute, sulla domanda, l’accesso e la fruizione di servizi sanitari da parte dei migranti a Torino. La ricerca, realizzata da LDF (Laboratorio dei Diritti Fondamentali) in collaborazione con FIERI (Forum Internazionale ed Europeo di Ricerca sull’Immigrazione), parte dalle premesse giuridiche del diritto alla salute in quanto diritto fondamentale. Condotta con metodologie di tipo antropologico e sociologico, lo studio ha analizzato la domanda, l’accesso e la fruizione di servizi sanitari da parte di cittadini di origine straniera residenti a Torino, sulla base dei quattro parametri: disponibilità, accessibilità, accettabilità e qualità dei servizi sanitari. La ricerca ha indagato il ricorso a servizi o modalità di tutela della salute paralleli al sistema pubblico e formale, con la finalità di cogliere e analizzare le modalità e le ragioni di accesso a istituzioni “alternative” e ai servizi erogati da queste.

EN A survey on the right to health care, on the demand, access to and use of health services by migrants in Turin. The study, carried out by LDF (Fundamental Rights Laboratory) in collaboration with FIERI, starts from the legal assumption of the right to health care as a fundamental right. The study carried out with anthropological and sociological methods, focused on the demand, the access and the use of health services by citizens of foreign origin who live in Turin, on the basis of four indicators: availability, accessibility, acceptability and quality of the health services. The study has investigated the use of services or methods of health protection parallel to the public system, with the aim of identifying the reasons behind the access to “alternative” institutions and to the services provided by them.
