This report was prepared in the framework of the project “Legal migration for work and training: Mobility options to Europe for those not in need of protection” coordinated by the Research Unit of the Expert Council of German Foundations on Integration and Migration in cooperation with the Migration Policy Institute Europe, funded by Stiftung Mercator. This report aims at presenting and critically assessing Italy’s migration policies for work and training purposes in the last two decades.
