IT La ricerca, coordinata dal Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies (FSM-SFM) di Neuchâtel, ha dato vita a un network internazionale che ha coinvolto centri di ricerca in diversi paesi europei (FIERI, Università di Coimbra, University for Applied Sciences di Brema, Università di Poitiers, Centre d’études de l’Ethnicité et des migrations dell’Università di Liegi, Imes dell’Università di Amsterdam). Il primo obiettivo del network è stato quello di produrre un “inventario” delle pratiche transnazionali in atto nei paesi europei che aderiscono al progetto, attraverso l’analisi delle ricerche già realizzate e mediante interviste a testimoni privilegiati e a immigrati delle principali comunità straniere (per l’Italia romeni e marocchini). Il progetto, approvato dall’European Science Foundation (ESF) è stato successivamente presentato ai singoli CNR nazionali per il finanziamento. La ricerca italiana, conclusasi nel settembre 2007, è stata finanziata dal CNR e svolta da FIERI in collaborazione con l’Istituto di Ricerca per le Popolazioni e le Politiche Sociali (IRPPS).
EN The project, coordinated by the Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies (FSM–SFM) from Neufchatel, originated an international network that involves research centres in several European countries (FIERI, University of Coimbra, University for Applied Sciences of Brema, University of Poitiers, Centre d’études de l’Ethnicité et des migrations at the University of Liegi, Imes at the University of Amsterdam). The first objective of this network was to produce an “inventory” of transnational practices undergoing in the European countries that participate in the project through an analysis of research already carried out and interviews with key participants and immigrants from the most important foreign populations (in Italy Rumanians and Moroccans). The project was approved by the European Science Foundation (ESF) and was presented to national CNR (National Research Centres) for funding. The project regarding Italy was funded by the CNR and developed by FIERI in cooperation with the IRPPS (Research Centre for Population and Social Policy).
